KillSonic

KillSonic is a experimental jazz ensemble. Threadtrend.com describes them best here——> “Killsonic is a sight to behold–the members are all ages and seem to come from all walks of life. I’d describe their set as “emotional” for lack of a better word. The crashing symbols and hardcore horns managed to capture the mood of society right now: the tension, the uncertainty, the euphoria, the anticipation. It really worked for me. Actually, it was so good that we were afraid that Dick Cheney and Sarah Palin were going to bust in any moment and announce that we were all under arrest and that our existences had been vaporized.”

•KILLSONIC is a musicians’ collective operating in the greater Los Angeles area and ranging in size from 15-40 members.


Double Gee’s NineNet:

NineNet is thoroughly described as a 9 piece that sounds like you’re standing in the French Quarter of New Orleans, seven cocktails into the evening. To your left, you hear a brass band coming towards you. As they get closer, you realize they are playing music from “The Firebird” by Igor Stravinsky.

Skyline Electric:

Skyline Electric is a 12 piece ensemble consisting of drums, percussion, upright and electric bass, saxophones, brass, and bent circuits. The musical product is a reinterpretation of the sonic capabilities of each instrument, reflecting the space and time of each performance.

Tes Elations:

This 5 piece micro/orchestra’s compositions have a foundation in classical composition yet sit equally between chamber sonics as much as experimental rock/punk.

The music and aesthetic of Tes Elations is focused on detail and precise execution. The coordination of each instrument is given particular consideration; the micro is just as important as the macro. Each song is arrived to by different paths as new and old ways of composition are constantly being explored.

TeleMagica was founded by those Artists who live with very little, consume only the necessary, and give with their Entire Soul. The TeleMagica grounds were constructed with recycled materials, donation waste from the nearby Railroad, and discarded dumpster finds. We have existed due to “the force of will” and the alignment with Spirit……. We have built our community with Intention. And unlike many gatherings that have money to promote and erect large expensive stages, the main stage for our gathering is a natural Earth Power Spot. Our gathering is built with the “Nails of Will” ,”recycled materials” and the “energy of Heart”.
